The short::seasons projectfilms are an opportunity for aCanberran filmmaker to get a bit of cash, use of some equipment andheaps of support from the short::seasons team to make a film for thenext short::seasons film festival. Project Funding To apply for funding, you need to email orpost us your script you'd like to see made into a film along with a ProjectFilm Entry Form. The short::seasons team will pick the best ideafrom the bunch and help make it happen. One script is selected perseason of the festival (two per year). Therequirements that must be met are: · You must live in Canberra or theCanberra Region · Your script should be for afilm under 10 minutes in duration · Your story must be set inCanberra · Your story must be set in theseason of the festival it will be made for · Your script must be producible:e.g. copyright songs are expensive and herds of elephants are hard tofind, so consider not having things like that in your script. There are a couple of additional requirements for music videos: · The musicmust be original (no covers) · Themusician/s must also live in Canberra or the Canberra Region · A bio of themusician/s and the song must be submitted · You mustwork out an agreement with the band regarding distribution of anyfuture revenue (prizes etc) from the music video (short::seasons doesnot take any prizes or revenue) · Aswith a script, your treatment must still be producible, includingany postproduction magic: e.g. a music video with 100 seamlesstransitions can be made on this budget, but you (and we) need toconsider whether it can be done in the timeframe! If your script is selected, you will be provided with a budget of $500cash to go towards making the film. You are also given useof an edit suite for use on this project. The short::seasons teamwill help as much or as little as required. Submissions are not being taken at present as the festival is in hiatus.
