off is a short film directed by Zane Pearson for a Macquarie
University Film project. Film genres and techniques such as
Western, German expressionism and Horror are experimented
with whist filming in a single location. Bugger Off
focuses around the dysfunctional relationship between
Clarence and his boorish roommate Mike. Clarence is
desperately trying to get himself a job but is constantly
held back by the presence of his housemate. After
numerous incidents, the meek Clarence finally decides it is
time to take revenge on Mike, only he finds that someone has
beat him to it.
And who could let revenge go to waste?
