THE BRIEF

Lights!  Canberra! Action! is a Scavenger Hunt for filmmakers.  As a  filmmaker, you have 10 days to make a short film (maximum length 7 minutes)  including a number of items which will be announced on the first day of  filmmaking (26thFeb). You can tell any story you want, shoot it however you like and edit to your heart’s content.  Teams can register at any stage of the  competition, but it is an advantage to use the whole ten days to make your films.

Points are awarded for including the specified items in the films, and you  will  have to seek them out – Scavenger Hunt style.  You can include the  items  anyway you like, your character can walk past one, or you can set a  scene at a location, whatever fits your story best – there’s even a  prize for the best use of an item, so be imaginative!
