The Della Morte Sisters is a steampunk animation aboutthree inventive, intelligent and resourceful girls as they search fortheir missing parents in a strange, dark and exciting world.
Abigail, Beatrix and Zarah Della Morte, findthemselves stuck in the Skipping Girl Orphanage in Steampunk Melbourne- a mysterious world full of machines, villains and dark gothic beauty.The normal line of history is altered in this world and while someparts appear old fashioned, others appear strangely futuristic. Thisworld is archaic and advanced, Dickensian and Orwellian, elegant andspooky. The sisters themselves are vastly different, working best whenthey band together. We are currently producing a short film introducingthese great female characters and their amazing world, funded byartsACT.
